Emmanuel GUILLAUD (PGE 1998) : TBS Alumni in Brussels

21 August 2025 Portraits

Emmanuel GUILLAUD graduated from the Master in Management at TBS Education in 1998, and has built up a rich professional career in digital and marketing. But what stands out most in his testimony is the importance of the ties forged during his years at school and his current involvement with the TBS Alumni Club Brussels.

TBS Education: the school that forges lifelong friendships

When Emmanuel joined TBS Education in the mid-90s, the school was undergoing a major transformation. The Barcelona campus was opening up internationally, internships abroad were multiplying and the first digital technologies were making their appearance.

Emmanuel remembers the excitement of the first group e-mails sent from home. It was a pioneering period that gave him a taste for digital technology and the desire to delve even deeper.

But what really stands out for Emmanuel are the human connections. Between parties, sports, courses and travel, he built up a solid circle of friends that continues to this day.

Evening at "La Cave" 1996

"I made friends for life, the parties, the classes, the sports...

the memories last. "

Business, entrepreneurship and digital marketing

After graduating from TBS Education, Emmanuel began his career as an IT salesman. His taste for the web and innovation soon led him to work on entrepreneurial projects and with specialized agencies.

He created Xtremself, a portal dedicated to board sports, then worked in a web agency where he had to do everything: communication, marketing, project management. These experiences enabled him to develop cross-disciplinary expertise in digital and marketing. A brief stint in the sports events sector with the creation of CapitaleSports, followed by a few years in a sports marketing agency, enabled him to become completely autonomous in project management.

In Belgium, he then joined a digital solutions group for the launch of an electronic purse, before founding several structures such as GEnetvision and more recently the digital communications agency Les Causantes.

Today, he focuses on supporting companies in their growth, by activating various levers such as Meta, TikTok, Influence, and so on.

"We support our customers in their different phases of growth, depending on the maturity of their products: content, branding, influence...

We monitor all this with data. "

The TBS Alumni spirit: sharing, connecting and supporting each other

Having lived in Brussels for 18 years, Emmanuel was keen to renew his ties with TBS Education and its alumni. Initially, he was simply a participant in events. Eventually, he took over responsibility for Club Bruxelles.

Today, the club brings together a wide variety of profiles: young graduates looking for opportunities, professionals based in Belgium, trainees studying. Alumni who come for leisure or to meet others. Aperitifs, wine tastings and pétanque games are just some of the opportunities for bonding.

"The people who come to these events are open-minded and want to relive their school days. There's a lot of mutual support in this network, especially on a professional level. "

This dynamic creates a real family spirit. Emmanuel recalls an event that ended at an alumni's home, as if everyone had known each other for twenty years, even though they had just met.

A strong and lasting link with TBS Alumni

For Emmanuel, the spirit of the alumni clubs is essential: they create light-hearted moments where everyone can share their experience, expand their network and help each other in a convivial atmosphere.

"These are light evenings where you meet people who are keen to share their experience while learning from others. Come and spend an evening with us, the people are friendly and the atmosphere is always good-natured. I too would have liked to have had some help when I left school. "

It's a simple message, but one that reflects the strength of the TBS Alumni network: maintaining links, supporting new generations and extending the unique spirit of TBS Education well beyond graduation.
