Grégory MACQUERON (MS MIT 2008): committed mentor for TBS Alumni
Professional coach and committed Alumni, Grégory MACQUERON (MS MIT 2008) is deeply involved in the TBS Alumni Mentoring Program. For the past two years, he has been enthusiastically supporting the students who take part in the program. It's clear to him that mentoring is a powerful lever for transmission and a valuable opportunity for students and graduates of TBS Education.
An inspiring and ambitious career, focused on people
Trained as an engineer, Grégory decided to change direction in 2008 and enrolled in the TBS Education Mastère Spécialisé (MS) in Management of Technological Innovation.
He was won over by two key elements: the practical dimension of innovation-oriented teaching, combining theory and application, and the recognition of the school, ranked in the TOP 10 of French management schools, with the MS MIT 6th in the Eduniversal rankings.
With his degree in hand, which he validated with a professional thesis on business marketing, he worked in business development at Thales Alenia Space on satellite navigation technologies, before joining AKKA Technologies as a business manager. He soon moved up to strategic positions, becoming Director of France for one of the Group's divisions, managing more than 1,000 employees in 15 offices in a transnational context, mainly Aerospace Defence, and thus becoming the youngest Director of the Group since its creation.

In 2015, he joined Amaris Consulting (Amaris Group now Mantu), where he set up the Toulouse subsidiary from scratch, managing it and making it a success, before taking over regional management of the Toulouse, Bordeaux and Nantes offices.
8 years later, Grégory took his career in a new direction by training and then certifying as a professional coach, and at the beginning of this year he started out as an Executive Coach. It's an exciting new departure for him, and a consistent and ambitious addition to his 12 years of management experience in consulting and business.
Grégory offers a preferential rate of 25% off his services for students at the school and members of the TBS Alumni network.
TBS Alumni mentoring: supporting, questioning, helping people grow
For the past two years, Grégory has been a mentor to students on the Master In Management Program at TBS Education. For him, this role is fully in line with his coaching activity: to create a space for listening, reflection and questioning.
During the 2024/2025 academic year, Grégory accompanied two students: Milan TALBOT and Samuela DJENE MBY.
Milan's monthly discussions helped him to work on his career plans, his search for an internship in finance, and to resolve certain personal obstacles.
With Samuela, the exchanges were more occasional but focused, with work on organization, time management tools and decision-making.
"It's great when you see in the students' eyes that something has clicked, and it's clicked several times. I also learned a lot from our exchanges, and their feedback touched me, confirming my decision to continue mentoring. I'm very happy to have been able to help out and give back to the school what it helped give me.
A commitment that Grégory will continue in September 2025, for the 3rd edition of the TBS Alumni Mentoring Program.

A strong link with TBS Alumni from the Mastère Spécialisé (MS) level onwards
Since joining TBS Education's MS Management of Technological Innovation program, Grégory has been very active within the network: speaking at the MIT MS, welcoming new classes, leading conferences, volunteering, and co-hosting the MIT UP Club. For him, this involvement is the result of a simple desire: to contribute, pass on and stay connected to the school and its graduates.
"There's a real pride in belonging to the TBS Alumni network and, in my case, it's clearly been useful at several stages of my professional life. I found Alumni throughout my professional experience. It gave me a network within the network. I've also been able to call on other alumni to help me out with knowledge, business contacts or even just to exchange ideas. It's been very easy. TBS Education alumni contact me freely and I contact alumni just as spontaneously."
And because the network is also a place of conviviality, Grégory has fond memories of more informal moments, such as unforgettable encounters at parties (like his meeting with Grégoire Antoine!) or a surprise karaoke party he organized and hosted for the TBS Alumni team. These memories reflect the spirit of the network: a network where you can be yourself while remaining in a professional environment.
