Steven BETITO, a foster family for Vida: a student guide dog
Steven BETITO (MS Marketing & Communication 2014), sales consultant, entrepreneur and active member of the TBS Alumni network, has another special mission: he is a host family for Vida, a student guide dog.
Host family for a student guide dog
For several months now, Steven has been accompanying Vida in her training, socializing her and integrating her into his daily life to prepare her for her future role as a guide dog.
Being a foster family requires a daily commitment: the aim is to get her used to different environments, human interactions and the varied situations she will encounter as a guide dog for a visually impaired person. It's a responsibility that's both demanding and rewarding.
"It's a real exchange, rich in lessons learned."

It was while living near an ophthalmology hospital in Paris that Steven became aware of the importance of guide dogs and decided to get involved in the cause. Vida learns to walk on a leash in a disciplined manner, to avoid distractions in town and to respond to precise commands.
He invites those wishing to get involved to carefully assess their availability before taking the plunge, and suggests starting out as a relay family to discover this adventure without any long-term commitment.
The TBS Alumni network: a pillar for networking
Steven remains close to the network and often returns to the association, accompanied by Vida, who is now part of our big TBS Alumni family!
Since 2015, he has been actively involved in the association, sitting on the Board of Directors and has even organized events to energize the community. For him, mutual support between Alumni is a major asset to cultivate.
"The alumni network is an incredible resource.
It takes time to realize it, but it's often thanks to these connections
that we can take crucial steps forward."
Entrepreneurship, advice, commitment

Steven has always had the soul of an entrepreneur. During his studies at TBS Education, he co-founded EFOODSTUDENT, a meal delivery platform for students, supported by the TBSeeds incubator. This project enabled him to apply his knowledge of marketing and management while being supported by experts.
In 2018, he decided to switch to business consulting. Since then, he has been working with companies like Elestio in their quest for growth and development strategies. His expertise in sales strategy and customer acquisition has enabled him to build a career where he can fully exploit his autonomy and creativity.
"I love the diversity of assignments and the freedom this job offers.
Every day I discover new challenges and new people to collaborate with."

"One meeting can change your destiny.
